Through the amazing natural wonders that Ecuador has to offer. The enormous biodiversity in the four regions of this country, has given way to thousands of species of flora and fauna among rough untouched land. Ecuador is home to approximately 1640 kinds of birds, of which 500 live in the Mindo-Nambillo woodland reserve, north-west of Quito. There are about 4500 species of butterflies, 345 of reptiles, 358 of amphibians and 258 of mammals, to name but a few. Ecuador therefore is the most bio-diverse country in the planet considering its sheer size and the variety of its animal species.
