DAY 1 In Lima

Reception at Lima airport and transfer to hotel.

DAY 2 Culinary demonstration + City Tour of modern and Colonial Lima (B, L)

10:15 – 10:40 AM Pick up from your hotel.

We will first visit to a local, Peruvian market, where we get to know different typical local products, among vegetables, fruits, seafood, etc. We will then continue to La Rosa Nautica Restaurant, a unique place in Lima located at the end of a peer in Miraflores coast surrounded by the ocean, we will learn from an expert Barman the recipe for the best Pisco Sour and the Restaurant’s Chef will teach us how to prepare a great Peruvian “Ceviche”.

Finally we will have the chance to taste some of the most representative dishes of the Peruvian Cuisine.

After lunch we’ll continue to do a city tour of Modern and Colonial Lima. We’ll start with a panoramic view of “La Huaca Pucllana” and then you will visit the impressive Historical Downtown of Lima: its palaces, mansions, churches and squares, ending with a visit to the residential and financial district of San Isidro and an unforgettable view of the Pacific Ocean from the district of Miraflores.

Return to hotel aprox. 19:00

DAY 3 Lima – Cusco (B)

After breakfast, flight to Cusco, reception and transfer to your hotel in Cusco downtown. Rest of day at leisure to acclimate to the altitude.

DAY 4 Cusco City Tour (B)

AM or PM city tour, visiting the cathedral, temple of the sun (Koricancha) and four ruins nearby cusco, to the archeological complex of Sacsayhuaman, Quenqo, Puca-pucara and Tambomachay.

DAY 5 Cusco – Sacred Valley (B, L)

Departure for the Sacred Valley tour, visiting the Archaeological Complex of Pisac Ruins and Market, stopping at the Urubamba Valley for a buffet lunch and continue to Ollantaytambo, Its name comes from the Old Aymara and it means ¨Viewpoint¨

Overnight in Urubamba.


DAY 6 Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu – Cusco (B, L)

Transfer to the Train station to catch the train to Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu. Arrival in Aguas Calientes, reception and transfer to the bus station to go up to the Machu Picchu Citadel on a 30 minutes ride.

Upon arrival, guided visit of the most spectacular ancient city in the world. This fabulous city contains houses, temples, warehouses, a large central square; all connected by narrow roads and steps that are surrounded by terraces cut into the mountain side. After the tour, free time to enjoy this spiritual wonder. Lunch.

Return in the afternoon by train to Cuzco and transfer to your hotel.

DAY 7 Cusco Cooking lessons (B, L)

Around 10:00 AM pick up from your hotel and visit Mercado de San Pedro for an hour long market tour of this historic market, we will drive from the market up to the cooking school where cooking instruction will begin, followed by a full lunch and pisco sours that you have prepared during your class, all in a relaxed outdoor garden setting. With satisfied tummies, we will make the trip back to your hotel around 2:00 PM.

Day 8 Cusco – Lima (B)

Transfer to Cusco airport.
